Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their 3rd Shift maintenance team in McConnelsville, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting a high-performing manufacturing operation.

In this role, you'll work with advanced manufacturing equipment while helping maximize production uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. If you have strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automation experience, we'd like to hear from you.

Position Overview:

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

  • You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, respond to maintenance requests, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Repair and maintain production machinery to minimize downtime.

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.

  • Properly issue and sign out replacement parts from inventory.

  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Work overtime as needed to support production schedules and special projects.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Secondary education, technical certification, or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

OR

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Preferred Technical Experience

  • Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:

  • Siemens electrical equipment

  • PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics

  • ABB Robotics

  • Robotics programming

  • Hydraulic system troubleshooting

  • Electrical blueprint and schematic reading

  • Mechanical equipment repair

  • Preventive and predictive maintenance

  • Industrial electrical systems

  • Automated manufacturing equipment
