Instructional Designer

Position Details:

• Title: Business Development Consultant 2
• Location: Peoria, IL (100% Onsite)
• Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $24/hour

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning & Development, or Training Design
• Experience creating and developing training courses and learning materials
• Strong understanding of ADDIE instructional design methodology
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Experience conducting business needs analysis
• Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship management skills
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with dominKnow ONE, Questionmark, DACUM, or Caterpillar products is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver engaging training modules, courses, and learning programs
• Conduct business needs analyses to identify learning requirements
• Apply instructional design best practices to create effective training solutions
• Review and update training materials to ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Gather and analyze training performance metrics and ROI to improve program effectiveness
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused learning solutions
• Support Customer Care and Cat Connect initiatives through training and development programs
• Maintain instructional content and ensure materials remain current and relevant
• Provide consulting and support on learning and development initiatives
• Travel up to 10% domestically as needed
