Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge ready to lead and ensure compliance within a dynamic pharmacy setting. Serving as the legally designated PIC, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of pharmacy operations under multiple non-resident state licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational, ownership, facility, and PIC changes.
• Provide oversight of both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
• Manage daily batch record creation, review, and approval processes.
• Support production scheduling to meet delivery timelines and maintain inventory accuracy.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
• Extensive knowledge of USP standards and relevant state and federal regulations for 503A compounding operations.
• Proven experience in leading audits and handling regulatory inspections effectively.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Flexible availability on Saturdays if required.

• Kennett Square, PA.
