This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to serve approximately 40 young learners who benefit from dedicated speech and language services. You'll be supported through collaboration with skilled educators, special education professionals, and engaged families, ensuring students reach their full communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous experience in elementary school settings strongly preferred
- Proven ability to conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and deliver direct and indirect services in school environments
- Outstanding organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and commitment to a consistent full-time schedule (no part-time)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language evaluations and therapy to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement IEP goals, providing both direct and consultative services
- Maintain thorough documentation and keep careful records of student progress
- Collaborate consistently with instructional staff, administrators, and families for holistic student support
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students and support their diverse communication needs
- Participate in meetings and contribute valuable insights to the special education team
The assignment runs from early August 2026 through May 2027, with a full-time weekly commitment and a collaborative, onsite environment. Scheduling and interview processes are designed for efficiency and transparency, with a virtual interview of 15–30 minutes.
