Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract opportunity, running from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, allows you to provide essential communication support to students. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:30am to 3:30pm each day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role is based near Warren, MI.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience supporting student speech, language, and communication needs, preferably in school environments
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Competency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable with documentation and reporting requirements
- Motivated, adaptable, and committed to fostering student growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify communication disorders
- Design and deliver individualized treatment sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educational teams on IEP development and reviews
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Provide resources and support to families and staff regarding student communication
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities
