Desired Background and Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and progress monitoring
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized therapy to elementary students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop tailored intervention plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports
- Support students in reaching their speech and language goals through a creative and encouraging approach
