Job Description
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist supporting students across multiple educational settings near Geneva, IN. This dynamic role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference with a manageable caseload and collaborative on-site support.
Step into a position where you’ll provide specialized physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20-25 students, working 2-3 days each week across 6 school buildings. You'll also benefit from the assistance of an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant already in place, ensuring a team-oriented, supportive environment.
In this role, you can expect guaranteed hours and compensation between $45 and $60 per hour, reflecting your experience and commitment.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license (PT) in Indiana
- Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varying school environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver PT interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Travel between assigned campus locations to ensure services are effectively provided
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates to school staff and families
- Collaborate closely with on-site PTA and multidisciplinary teams to promote student mobility and participation within the school environment
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert input as needed
