This full-time contract assignment is ideal for a skilled OT ready to bring compassion, expertise, and innovative approaches to a vibrant school environment. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students to foster each child’s growth and independence during a crucial stage of development.
This position covers two elementary locations, as well as one private school student, providing variety and an engaging daily experience. The assignment runs tentatively from November 2nd to January 29th, with the potential for an extension through February 26th.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active OT license is required
- Experience delivering OT services in a school setting highly preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to supporting children during a temporary maternity leave placement
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality OT sessions, both individually and in groups
- Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and track progress
- Work alongside general and special education staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
- Travel between assigned schools as needed
