Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract role working full-time, starting at the end of August and running through early June. This opportunity focuses on a single-site Setting 3 classroom serving students with developmental cognitive disabilities and those on the autism spectrum, with a small and manageable class size of about 6-10 students.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license (Tier 3 or Tier 4) with ASD or DCD endorsement required
- ABS licensure considered, with preference for EBD or ASD specialization
- Demonstrated experience teaching in a Setting 3 cluster classroom, preferably with EBD focus
- Familiarity with instructional strategies for DCD and ASD students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for differentiated learning and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored instruction for a caseload of approximately 6-10 elementary students
- Utilize best practices and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals to create positive learning outcomes
- Collaborate closely with support staff, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring for all students
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom community
