Job Description
Embark on an engaging contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, beginning August 24, 2026 and lasting through June 7, 2027. Serving students in a single, supportive school setting near Cleveland, you’ll be an essential partner in fostering academic and social growth for a caseload of 40-50 students. This role offers 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to build strong, lasting relationships within your assigned building while making a tangible impact through comprehensive psychological services.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (State of Ohio)
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience with school-based evaluations, IEPs, and intervention planning preferred
- Strong background in administering psychoeducational assessments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing interventions tailored to diverse learners
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate actively with educators, school teams, and families to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect student support, including counseling and consultation services
- Participate in multidisciplinary intervention teams to design and monitor strategies that promote student success
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
