Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We’re seeking motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants to support patients through their rehabilitation and recovery journey. If you enjoy hands‐on patient care and working as part of a collaborative therapy team, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule

• 8a -5p | 8‐Hour Shifts
• Per Diem flexibility

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility training, and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
• Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and use of adaptive equipment
• Ensure proper use, setup, and cleaning of therapy equipment
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow all safety protocols
• Document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

• Active PTA license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PTA experience required
• Acute care, rehabilitation, or inpatient hospital experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation principles
• Excellent communication and patient‐engagement skills
• Ability to motivate and encourage patients through recovery
• Team‐oriented mindset with a strong commitment to patient‐centered care
