LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company on Milwaukee's north side to identify a Quality Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity.
This is a hands-on role supporting quality systems, audits, corrective actions, supplier quality, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement efforts in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working cross-functionally with operations and helping solve quality challenges on the production floor.

- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support customer and supplier quality activities
- Assist with audits and quality system compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to resolve quality issues
- Quality experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with problem-solving tools such as CAPA, 8D, or 5 Why
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and wear multiple hats
Preferred Experience
- ISO 9001 experience
- Supplier quality experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure
- Assembly manufacturing experience
