Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Current licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist within the state
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, learning disabilities, and behavioral management strategies
• Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
• Participate in eligibility determination and intervention planning meetings
• Deliver direct support services including counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to implement effective strategies for student success
• Provide staff and parent training on topics related to mental health, learning strategies, and behavior management
• Advocate for a safe and inclusive school climate
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation as required
