• Active certification in Child with Disabilities B-age 5, K-8 or 7-12 (282)
• Experience or familiarity working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Ability to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and modify curriculum as needed
• Skilled in effectively communicating with families, staff, and related service providers
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual needs and IEP goals at the elementary level
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required documentation
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, aides, and support staff to facilitate accommodations and classroom integration
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing team planning sessions
• Promote a positive, supportive classroom culture that encourages student confidence and independence
