Position: Special Education Teacher (4 Openings)
Location: Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Position Overview

We are seeking four dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school district. These full-time positions serve students across elementary and secondary grade levels in a variety of instructional settings.

Current Openings

• Elementary Resource Teacher
• Secondary Resource Teacher
• Secondary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Classroom Teacher
• Elementary Teacher for a Therapeutic Intervention (TI) Classroom

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Differentiate instruction to meet students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Special Education Teaching License required
• Emergency certifications will not be accepted
• Experience in resource, ASD, or therapeutic intervention classrooms is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
