Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, 40-hours-per-week opportunity begins August 26, 2026, and wraps up June 7, 2027. You’ll provide both direct and indirect services across a welcoming elementary caseload while benefiting from guaranteed hours and a focus purely on speech-language therapy—no expectations of bus or parent-duty outside of your contracted hours.
Candidates with their CCC or who are completing their CFY are welcome, and school-based SLP experience is highly valued. If you're a travel therapist, stipend eligibility delivers additional support as you make a difference in a vibrant, scenic community.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or pending state license (ASHA CCC or CFY considered)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Enthusiasm for fostering inclusive, supportive environments for students
Responsibilities:
- Provide sound assessment and therapy for students on an elementary caseload
- Develop and implement IEP goals, tracking student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams regularly
- Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development to stay current in best practices
