Step into a dynamic high school environment supporting student growth and well-being as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite position offers you the opportunity to make a genuine impact in an urban high school setting while collaborating with dedicated professionals and engaged students.

Your expertise will be essential in evaluating and assessing high school students, ensuring their educational needs are met through targeted interventions and individualized recommendations. Working onsite five days a week and adhering to a set schedule of 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM, you’ll be an integral part of the district’s student support team, conducting thorough assessments and providing direct services.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Previous school-based experience required; high school experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success working in an urban educational environment
  • Able to complete all Pennsylvania clearances
  • Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
  • Comfortable adhering strictly to in-person work hours and expectations
  • Proficient in conducting student evaluations and utilizing assessment tools effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and social-emotional needs
  • Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility determinations and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative services as needed to staff and families
  • Maintain all required documentation and ensure adherence to district and state protocols
