This contract opportunity spans several campuses, allowing you to contribute your specialized skills where they’re needed most and experience a diverse range of student populations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid SLP license in Alabama
  • Current SLP Educator certification (can be verified online)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
  • Previous schools-based experience or a strong desire to work in educational settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to onsite work across assigned campuses
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of around 60 students

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop effective treatment plans for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support student goals
  • Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Work flexibly between designated locations, with some roles splitting time across two schools
