Senior Business Analyst – Mostly Remote | Philadelphia Area We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a mostly remote contract opportunity supporting complex, high-visibility business projects. Candidates should be located within a reasonable distance of Philadelphia, PA, as occasional onsite visits may be required. Position Details Location: Mostly remote; Philadelphia-area candidates preferred Onsite Requirement: Infrequent onsite visits, typically less than once per month Contract Length: 6 months with potential to extend or convert Schedule: 40 hours per week Pay: Competitive, based on experience Role Focus Serve as the primary Business Analyst on complex, business-focused projects Lead stakeholder meetings and facilitate requirements discussions Gather, document, and validate business requirements Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and solution definition Partner with senior leaders to clarify needs and drive decisions Support testing coordination, validation, and implementation readiness Help resolve competing priorities and build consensus across teams Document workflows, risks, decisions, recommendations, and next steps Required Experience Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of business analysis experience Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and testing support experience Experience facilitating meetings with business stakeholders and senior leaders Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Strongly Desired Healthcare, research operations, or healthcare systems experience Business analysis certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CCBA PMP or related project management certification Ideal Candidate The best fit is a senior-level Business Analyst who can independently lead discovery, requirements, process analysis, stakeholder alignment, and implementation support. This person should be comfortable working with senior leaders, navigating ambiguity, building consensus, and producing clear documentation that moves complex business projects forward.
