Job Summary
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Escrow Assistant in Sonoma, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented escrow professional who enjoys supporting real estate transactions, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure a smooth closing experience for clients, agents, lenders, and internal teams.
The Escrow Assistant will play an important support role within a professional real estate and mortgage services environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, supportive leadership, and experienced industry professionals who value accuracy, communication, teamwork, and exceptional service.
This is a strong fit for someone with 3 to 5 years of escrow experience who is ready to bring strong organizational skills, transaction knowledge, and client service ability to a stable direct hire role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support escrow officers with the opening, processing, and closing of residential or real estate escrow transactions.
- Prepare, review, organize, and maintain escrow files, documents, instructions, and related transaction records.
- Communicate professionally with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, title representatives, and other parties involved in the closing process.
- Assist with coordinating signatures, document delivery, funding requirements, payoff information, and closing timelines.
- Track transaction milestones and help ensure files are accurate, complete, compliant, and moving forward efficiently.
- Provide responsive customer service while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail throughout each transaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $26.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
