Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections

We’re seeking experienced and confident Correctional Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive medical care to an adult population within a correctional facility. If you’re clinically strong, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with custody staff, this role offers stability and meaningful impact.

Schedule

• Full‐Time
• 8‐Hour Shifts
• Day, evening, or night shifts based on facility needs *Every other weekend support required*

What You’ll Do

• Perform intake health screenings and ongoing medical assessments
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per provider orders
• Perform and interpret EKGs and respond to cardiac‐related concerns
• Utilize AEDs and respond to medical emergencies within the facility
• Provide urgent and routine medical care for acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with providers, mental health staff, and correctional officers
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and disease prevention
• Adhere to security procedures, infection control, and facility protocols

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• IV therapy experience required
• EKG and AED experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care, correctional, ER, or Med‐Surg RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‐stress situations
• Comfortable working independently in a secure environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
