DME Technician
Pay: $23-$28/hr - Depending on experience
Location: Dallas, TX 75231
Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:30pm
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated DME Technician to provide patient care and education on durable medical equipment (DME) products. This on-site role involves fitting braces and crutches, molding and removing casts and splints, and maintaining inventory to ensure seamless patient assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients on DME products and proper usage
- Fit and apply braces and crutches
- Mold and remove casts and splints
- Manage DME inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Schedule appointments and document patient interactions using Athena system
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of DME experience
- Ability to work on-site
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and inventory management
