Job Description
An employer is looking for a Patient Access Supervisor in a contact center environment specifically overseeing 8 different specialties. The Supervisor will lead a team of ~40 agents supporting neuroscience patient access functions, including scheduling support, insurance verification, and financial clearance. This role requires a highly independent leader capable of managing operations without direct managerial oversight.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership (40%)
- Directly manage and support a team of ~40 agents
- Monitor performance, productivity, and engagement
- Coach, develop, and address performance issues
- Foster a positive, accountable team culture
Resource Management (20%)
- Manage staffing levels and coverage
- Oversee inventory, equipment, and access needs
- Track FTE allocation and workforce planning
- Submit and manage service tickets and internal requests
Operations & Quality (30%)
- Oversee daily call center/patient access operations
- Ensure adherence to workflows and quality standards
- Partner on QA initiatives and performance metrics
- Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
Special Projects (10%)
- Support departmental initiatives and growth projects
- Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration
Interview: 1 round interview availability this week
Duration: 6-month rolling contract (covering a leave of absence)
Pay: $35-45/hour
Hybrid – On-site as needed
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90048
Targeted start date: August 3rd (Must complete onboarding before starting)
Onboarding: Background Check, Drug Test, Health Screenings/Vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, TB Blood Test), Onboarding Paperwork, and Flu Shot during flu season (Sept-April)
