ServiceNow Architect
Location: Bridgewater, NJ, 1 day onsite
Duration: 12-Month Contract to Hire (08/16/2026 – 08/16/2027)
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the enterprise ServiceNow platform, serving as the Solution Architect across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and future platform capabilities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand organizational priorities and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
- Develop technology roadmaps and investment strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead demand management, prioritization, project planning, vendor oversight, and execution across multiple initiatives.
- Define and govern ServiceNow architecture, including integrations, platform standards, upgrade strategies, data architecture, and instance management.
- Establish and lead a ServiceNow Center of Excellence, driving best practices, governance, development standards, testing procedures, and release management processes.
- Architect automated and integrated business processes that improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure platform readiness for audits and maintain documentation, cross-training strategies, and knowledge management practices.
- Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, and GxP requirements, including validation documentation and audit trail integrity.
- Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow products, capabilities, third-party integrations, and marketplace solutions.
- Partner closely with the PMO and senior leadership to prioritize initiatives and balance resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise applications and business technology solutions.
- 7+ years of experience leading ServiceNow platforms, development teams, or large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Deep expertise with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
- Strong experience in solution architecture, platform governance, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide application implementation projects.
- Strong business systems analysis and SDLC experience utilizing Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, developing, mentoring, and retaining technical talent.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party implementation partners.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, enterprise systems, and platform administration.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working within regulated environments requiring GxP, SOX, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry experience.
- ITIL Certification.
- PMP Certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certification.
- Experience building and scaling ServiceNow Centers of Excellence.
