As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide vital services to preschool-aged students for the 2026-2027 school year. Your work will begin in mid-August, where you will join a collaborative environment alongside three fellow SLPs, allowing you to share insight and support as you make a meaningful difference in each child’s development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially early childhood or preschool
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for speech and language in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services 2 days per week to preschool students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with a team of SLPs and early childhood staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning for student support
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Engage families and caregivers in supporting communication development at home
