Step into a rewarding role shaping student communication success in a full-time, onsite position for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a caseload of 54 direct and 14 consult students. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 25, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to around 4:30pm.

Ideal candidates will possess the professional expertise needed to collaborate with school teams, deliver quality therapy services, and support SLPAs within a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license and active CCC-SLP credentials
  • Experience in school-based practice, working with students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong supervision skills and ability to provide guidance to SLPAs
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEPs and therapy documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, ensuring they provide effective support
  • Plan and conduct engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ IEP goals
  • Continuously evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies as needed and determining readiness for discharge from services
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in line with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth
