Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract opportunity is based near Meriden, KS, serving pre-K through 5th-grade students, including some with behavioral needs. The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, to May 20, 2027, with a valuable pre-year psychologist meeting on July 29th for those able to attend. Enjoy a balanced hybrid schedule, working two days remotely and three days onsite each week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist license in Kansas
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
  • Experience or graduate-level coursework with elementary populations, pre-K to 5
  • Understanding of behavioral interventions, multi-tiered systems of support, and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
  • Comfort managing a dynamic, varied caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Provide direct and consultative services to support student learning and wellbeing
  • Develop and implement behavior support and intervention plans
  • Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
  • Offer guidance and workshops for teachers and families on academic and behavioral strategies
  • Uphold all documentation, compliance, and confidentiality standards
