Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement as a Certified School Nurse (CSN); more than an RN license required
- Completion of CSN coursework (typically 1-2 years)
- Previous experience as a Certified School Nurse is highly valued
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a major plus
- Flexible, dependable, and collaborative mindset
- Strong attendance and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all functions of the school health office
- Complete comprehensive medical reviews for students
- Actively contribute to IEP and 504 planning and meetings
- Foster a positive and supportive environment among the health team
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure privacy compliance
