Take your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a vibrant school environment during the 2026 - 2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity near Kent, WA, runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and consists of a 40-hour work week. You’ll work collaboratively as one of just two Occupational Therapists district-wide, making a significant impact on both students and staff.

In this dynamic setting, you’ll enjoy a manageable caseload of around 30 students and lend your knowledge to Tier 1 supports for school staff—a chance to help shape inclusive practices and foster student success district-wide.

Qualifications and Experience Ideal for This Role:

  • Current Washington Occupational Therapist License/Certification—or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based OT, preferably working with diverse caseloads
  • Commitment to providing direct therapy services and consultation within an educational environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and students
  • References required and will be checked as part of the hiring process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Tier 1 supports, empowering staff with OT-informed strategies
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop goals as part of the IEP process
  • Maintain clear documentation and ongoing communication with staff and families
  • Engage actively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for each student
