Qualifications:

• Successful completion of the Minnesota Para Educator Exam or at least 60 college credits
• Passion for working with children and supporting their learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
• Previous experience in a school or special education setting is helpful but not required

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management and instruction for students receiving special education services
• Support students individually or in small groups, reinforcing lessons and promoting skill development
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the guidance of licensed educators
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels supported
• Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth among students
• Perform other duties as assigned by classroom teachers or administrators
