Job Description

This role focuses on settings with a high need for educators specializing in autism programs at both the primary and secondary levels. You’ll play a key part in providing quality education and individualized support to students while working on-site within a large, well-resourced district.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with students on the autism spectrum, especially within Setting 3 programs
- Confidence managing varying caseloads as needs may shift within the district
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with educators, support staff, and families
- Commitment to creating inclusive, adaptive, and supportive classroom environments
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering instruction and classroom support to students identified for special education services
- Designing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Coordinating with school teams to ensure services are provided according to district guidelines
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as necessary
- Engaging in ongoing communication with families and stakeholders
- Maintaining compliance with all district and state requirements for documentation and reporting
