What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with students on the autism spectrum, especially within Setting 3 programs
  • Confidence managing varying caseloads as needs may shift within the district
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with educators, support staff, and families
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, adaptive, and supportive classroom environments

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering instruction and classroom support to students identified for special education services
  • Designing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
  • Coordinating with school teams to ensure services are provided according to district guidelines
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as necessary
  • Engaging in ongoing communication with families and stakeholders
  • Maintaining compliance with all district and state requirements for documentation and reporting
