JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Assistant Staging & Prep
Position Overview
Responsible for preparing, organizing, and staging ingredients and materials to support efficient production while maintaining quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Production Prep & Staging
Stage ingredients, tools, and equipment for production.
Measure, portion, and label ingredients according to specifications.
Prepare spices according to recipes.
Assist kettle loader during busy periods.
Record lot codes for all materials used.

Inventory & Organization
Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.
Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out).
Maintain organized storage, cooler, and prep areas.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
________________________________________
Quality & Food Safety
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper temperature control and labeling.
Report quality or safety concerns immediately.
________________________________________
Team Support
Communicate effectively with team members.
Support production during peak periods.
Assist with training new employees as needed.
________________________________________
Cleaning & Maintenance
Keep prep areas, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.
Assist with deep cleaning and organizational projects.
________________________________________
