Quality Inspector
Job Description
Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 4 years of related experience and 8 years related experience or 8 years prior experience as a Level II Inspector Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.)
Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards and preferably NRC regulations
Plusses:
Concrete construction experience
NQA1 or nuclear experience
ISO quality standards
ACI certification
Job Description:
The Inspector Level III is responsible for defining inspection processes and certifying co-workers who perform inspections. He/she is certified in specific disciplines and has a detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. Certified by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The Inspector Level III shall have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.
