Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join a collaborative outpatient Radiation Oncology team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care. This opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced radiation therapy technology in a supportive clinical environment alongside experienced physicians and healthcare professionals.

Schedule

  • Full-Time

  • Four 10-hour day shifts

  • No weekends

  • No call

  • Rotating scheduled day off, providing a 4-day weekend approximately once per month

Technology

  • Varian TrueBeam STX

  • Halcyon

  • GE BrightSpeed CT Simulator

  • AlignRT Surface Guidance System

  • Aria Treatment Management System

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, or a Radiography Certificate with a 12-month Radiation Therapy Certificate program

  • Current ARRT certification

  • Current Arizona Radiation Therapy License

  • Current BLS/CPR certification

  • Minimum one year of Radiation Therapist experience preferred

  • CT Simulation experience preferred

  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • Knowledge of radiation safety standards, dosimetry, and treatment planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist

  • Perform CT Simulation procedures

  • Utilize image guidance to ensure accurate patient positioning

  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and maintain accurate treatment documentation

  • Educate patients regarding treatment procedures, skin care, potential side effects, and nutrition

  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
