The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Manage grant accounting, including budget tracking, expense coding, allocations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements, donor restrictions, funding requirements, and internal policies.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Support month-end and year-end close, including general ledger review and fund accounting activity.
- Monitor grant expenditures against approved budgets and communicate trends, risks, or funding issues.
- Assist with annual audits, Form 990 support, and grant-related documentation requests.
- Partner with program managers and leadership to provide financial insight and reporting support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
- Required hands-on experience with grant accounting and grant compliance reporting.
- Knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting, GAAP, and restricted/unrestricted fund tracking.
- Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with nonprofit accounting software preferred.
