This exciting opportunity offers eight full-time positions (37.5 hours per week) across several elementary schools, covering center-based programs for ASD/DCD, SEL, as well as resource settings. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education teaching license (ASD, DCD, EBD, or ABS)
  • Minimum of 2 years dedicated experience as a special education teacher (paraprofessional, general education, or substitute teaching experience does not apply)
  • Applied experience working within center-based or resource SPED programs, with a preference for those endorsed in ASD, DCD, EBD, or ABS
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and individualized instruction skills

Role Highlights:

  • Center Based ASD/DCD: Positions at Birch Grove, Rice Lake, and Zanewood Elementary (ASD or DCD endorsement required)
  • Center Based SEL: Located at Cedar Island Elementary (EBD, ASD or DCD endorsement accepted)
  • Resource roles: Opportunities at Fair Oaks, Birch Grove, and Basswood Elementary (all endorsements accepted)
  • Design, adapt, and deliver individualized education plans in supportive classroom settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to foster student success

Position Details:

  • Full academic year: September 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027
  • 37.5 hours per week, predictable school-day schedule
