Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Active California SLP License required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience in pediatric, educational, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and updates as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Support students’ ability to communicate and thrive in the classroom and school community
