Desired Experience & Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials
- Previous work in school-based settings preferred
- Experience in home health and healthcare OT environments a plus
- Skilled in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with documentation requirements for educational and healthcare records
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ and clients’ functional abilities and development needs
- Develop and execute individualized intervention plans for each client’s unique goals
- Deliver therapy in school and home environments, ensuring continuity of care
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and medical professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school district and healthcare standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable OT insight for educational planning
