Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Special Education Teacher with a focus on individualized learning and behavioral support needs. You’ll work onsite in a highly collaborative, supportive environment with access to the resources you need to make an impact. Beginning July 27th, 2026, positions will run through May 21st, 2027, with each assignment focused at a single school location.

We’re looking for three dedicated professionals, each taking on a full-time role (37.5 hours weekly) in the following capacities:

  • Learning Specialist (elementary, mild/moderate needs)
  • Affective Needs Specialist (elementary, emotional/behavioral disabilities; lead a team of paraprofessionals; CPI, ABA, and de-escalation experience preferred; autism experience required)
  • Structured Learning Services Teacher (elementary, severe cognitive and behavioral disabilities; lead a small team; self-contained and behavioral experience strongly valued; autism and cognitive disability experience prioritized)

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher license
  • Special Education Generalist (ages 5-21) endorsement
  • Experience matching the assignment-specific caseload and needs
  • Leadership skills for guiding paraprofessional teams (where applicable)
  • Familiarity with behavioral strategies, ABA principles, CPI, and de-escalation (for behavioral roles)
  • Autism and cognitive disabilities experience (as indicated in assignment details)
  • Willingness to complete the district credentialing process promptly
