School Speech Language Pathologist - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contract position located near the beautiful Hilton Head Island area! Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver effective therapy to diverse student populations
• Professional commitment to upholding confidentiality, student advocacy, and current best practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs through standardized tools and staff/family consultation
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, pragmatics, voice, and fluency
• Provide direct therapy services and support within classrooms and specialized environments
• Document student progress, maintain thorough and compliant records, and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote students’ functional communication success
