Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Holds active Special Education certification/licensure suitable for assigned caseloads
• Bachelor’s degree required (to qualify for an emergency teaching permit)
• Demonstrable mastery of relevant subject matter and instructional skills
• Previous school-based teaching experience, particularly within urban environments
• Proven classroom and behavioral management capabilities
• Experience aligning lesson plans with state and district standards, focusing on formative assessment and differentiated instruction
• Ability to quickly adapt and deliver engaging, resource-driven lessons
• Willing and able to complete all PA state clearances prior to start
• Reliable transportation required
• Comfortable with the district and location; adaptable within diverse school settings
