Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education License with CI or ASD endorsement required
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or willingness to obtain and maintain CPI certification annually
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with cognitive impairments is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning experiences

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students in K–2
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to promote an integrated and accessible learning environment
• Foster a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere with a consistent approach to behavior management and positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular progress updates to families and team members
• Support crisis prevention and intervention strategies as part of the school’s commitment to student well-being
