Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Rebar Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. This position is responsible for operating heavy-duty power saws and shearing equipment to cut steel reinforcing bars (rebar) according to customer specifications and production schedules. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or metal fabrication experience, is safety-conscious, and is comfortable working with heavy materials and industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy-duty power saws and shearing machines to cut reinforcing steel (rebar).
  • Read and interpret work orders, production tickets, and measurements.
  • Measure and cut steel to precise project specifications.
  • Inspect finished materials for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures while operating machinery.
  • Perform basic machine inspections and report equipment concerns.
  • Assist with material handling and staging as needed.
  • Work with production team members to meet daily production goals.
Required Experience
  • Previous experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing, steel fabrication, or production environment preferred.
  • Experience reading tape measures and working with measurements.
  • Experience working safely around heavy equipment.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Rebar fabrication experience.
  • Metal cutting or steel processing experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Overhead crane experience.
Required Skills
  • Ability to safely operate heavy-duty power saws or similar industrial cutting equipment.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow production specifications.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
