Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Fredericktown, OH is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for per diem vacation coverage. This role requires availability during specific dates in August, September, and November to support ongoing pharmacy operations and ensure seamless patient care.
Schedule and Location:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (pharmacy open 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM; no lunch closure)
- Coverage needed August 10–14, September 14–18, and November 25
- Located in Fredericktown, OH
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
- Perform data entry and product verification with precision
- Respond professionally to pharmacy phone inquiries
- Manage controlled and narcotic drug deliveries, including check-in and signing
- Collaborate efficiently with a pharmacy team currently comprising three full-time technicians
- Note: Immunizations are not part of this position's duties
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Proficient with pharmacy computer systems and ability to manage high-volume prescription workflows
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
