Special Education Teacher (Secondary) – Easton High School
Location: Easton, Maryland
Schedule: Full-Time (35 Hours/Week)
School Year: August 24, 2026 – End of the 2026–2027 School Year
Grade Levels: 9th–12th Grade
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support Easton High School in Easton, Maryland for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity allows educators to work in both inclusive and pull-out settings while supporting high school students with a variety of academic and social-emotional needs.
Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades 9–12 through a combination of co-teaching within the general education classroom and pull-out services. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving special education services
- Deliver services through both co-teaching/inclusion and pull-out instructional models
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Support students in the areas of social-emotional/behavioral skills, reading, and math
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and district requirements

Requirements
- Active Maryland Special Education Teaching License (Secondary)
- Previous high school or secondary special education experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
