About the Role

ProCare Therapy is partnering with Peoria Unified School District to hire Resource Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. We have multiple openings available across the district, providing an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to helping students reach their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving special education services in a resource setting
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction based on individual needs
• Foster students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

• Caseloads and grade levels vary by placement

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement
• Current Arizona Special Education Certification
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a resource classroom setting
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Knowledge of Arizona special education laws and best practices
