Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Indiana
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Expertise in assessment and development of individualized therapy plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and implement evidence-based therapy services for students with physical challenges
- Develop and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy (individual and group), consultative services, and support for classroom staff
- Document interventions, progress, and make recommendations for accommodations or adaptive equipment
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to support students’ inclusion and participation in school activities
- Maintain compliance with all state and district documentation and reporting requirements
