If you’re passionate about supporting students’ mental health and success, this full-time opportunity for a School Psychologist could be the ideal next step in your career. Working with a diverse K-8th grade caseload on a contract basis, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping positive learning experiences and fostering healthy school climates.
Your daily work will include conducting comprehensive evaluations, collaborating in multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing expertise as a member of the school’s crisis team. You’ll also assist with Functional Behavior Analyses (FBAs), providing critical insights and recommendations for students in need of behavioral support.
We are seeking professionals who are dedicated, resourceful, and collaborative. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills and a strong commitment to student advocacy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification is required
- Experience with school-aged populations, preferably K-8th grade
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations and assessments within an educational setting
- Background in Functional Behavior Analysis (FBAs)
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate actively in crisis response
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer individual and group evaluations to inform educational planning
- Participate in team meetings to develop, implement, and monitor student support plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Contribute to crisis intervention strategies and follow-up care
- Assist with FBAs to inform targeted behavioral interventions
Compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $55/hr. Eligible professionals may also enjoy comprehensive healthcare benefits, along with housing and meal/incidentals arrangements.
