School-Based Physical Therapist - Hockessin, Delaware

Located near Hockessin, DE, you’ll become an essential part of a supportive team dedicated to helping students achieve their physical therapy goals for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Physical Therapist license required (please submit license and updated resume for consideration).
- Experience delivering physical therapy within a school setting preferred.
- Comfortable and flexible working with both school-based students and those requiring homebound services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
- Ability to adapt therapy programs to fluctuating caseloads throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide therapeutic interventions in both school buildings and, when needed, in homebound settings.
- Collaborate with district staff and families to ensure continuity of care and best outcomes for each student.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and IEP development as needed.
This position is available for full-time or part-time commitment at 37.5 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced and predictable work week. The caseload will vary during the school year, ensuring variety and engagement in your day-to-day work.
