Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Experience providing speech/language therapy to school-aged children, including assessments, intervention planning, and progress reporting
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and interdisciplinary educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough records, collect data, and provide progress updates for families and school personnel
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Provide resources and guidance to classroom staff to support generalization of communication skills
